The PRO 165.2 2-Way 165mm High-End Component System for active filtered control. The GLADEN Pro series combines puristic sound reproduction with thoughtful design and exceptionally dynamic music reproduction. The Pro loudspeakers are developed and produced entirely in Germany.

The PRO 165.2 is supplied without passive crossovers and must therefore be actively controlled. This can be done by means of a multi-channel amplifier, with or without a built-in Digital Sound Processor (DSP). In this way, matters such as crossover frequency, digital runtime correction and equalization can be set separately for each speaker for optimal audio performance.

The GLADEN PRO 165 Woofer is a particularly high-quality 16.5cm mid-bass that appeals to audio purists and dynamics enthusiasts alike. The neutral and broadband character of the woofer makes it very versatile and the bass reproduction is also extremely good. The PRO 165 is also constructed with high-quality materials including a die-cast aluminum frame, a 38mm voice coil, a coated paper cone with a woven textile dust cap and SBR rubber surround.

The GLADEN PRO 25 Tweeter is not only a very high-quality 25mm soft-dome tweeter, but also a very well thought-out loudspeaker. During its development, a lot of attention was paid to its installation in the car. Many high-quality tweeters are made to be mounted as a surface-mounted tweeter, for example on the A-pillar.

Such tweeters are therefore often equipped with a large mounting flange, which means that it cannot be optimally placed behind an original grille. The PRO 25 therefore has a removable mounting flange and an equally removable grille.

Thanks to the acoustically coupled volume, the PRO 25 has a particularly low resonance frequency. As a result, the tweeter can be used from relatively low frequencies, which benefits both the stage reproduction and the connection to the mid-woofer.
